Beschreibung

Rubidium carbonate is used as a raw materials for preparation of rubidium metal and various rubidium salts, for the manufacturing of special glass, for the manufacturing of high energy density micro cells and crystal scintillation counters. It is also used as a part of a catalyst for preparing short-chain alcohols from feed gas.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.

Anwendungen
Rubidiumcarbonat wird als Rohstoff für die Herstellung von Rubidiummetall und verschiedenen Rubidiumsalzen, für die Herstellung von Spezialglas, für die Herstellung von Mikrozellen mit hoher Energiedichte und Kristallszintillationszählern verwendet. Es wird auch als Teil eines Katalysators zur Herstellung von kurzkettigen Alkoholen aus Speisegas verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser 4500 g/l bei @20 °C.

Hinweise
Hygroskopisch. Unter trockenem Inertgas lagern. Nicht in der Nähe von Basen, Wasser/Feuchtigkeit lagern.
