Beschreibung

It is employed as a valuable reagent for trifluoromethylation of electrophilic substrates. It is also use an the nucleophilic addition of the trifluoromethyl group to aldehydes and ketones. It generates trifluoromethide with catalytic amounts of F- (TBAF or CsF) and reacts with carbonyl compounds to produce trifluoromethylated alcohols.

Anwendungen
Es wird als wertvolles Reagenz für die Trifluormethylierung von elektrophilen Substraten eingesetzt. Es wird auch für die nukleophile Zugabe der Trifluormethylgruppe zu Aldehyden und Ketonen verwendet. Es erzeugt Trifluoromethid mit katalytischen Mengen von F- (TBAF oder CsF) und reagiert mit Carbonylverbindungen, um trifluoromethylierte Alkohole zu produzieren.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Alkohol, THF, Äther, Dichlormethan, aromatischen und aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen. Löslich in Wasser (mit weißem Rauch).

Hinweise
Feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Nicht in der Nähe von Oxidationsmitteln und Wasser/Feuchtigkeit lagern. Halten Sie den Behälter dicht verschlossen und stellen Sie ihn an einen kühlen, trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort. Unter inertem Gas lagern.
