Description

L-3,3',5-Triiodothyronine, Sodium Salt is shown to stimulate respiratory activity at the mitochondrial level. T3 is a thyroid hormone that increases rates of proteins synthesis, stimulates the breakdown of cholesterol, and effects embryonic development. In cell culture, T3 regulates cell differentiation and protein expression.

Anwendungen
L-3,3′,5-Triiodhyronin, Natriumsalz regt die Atmungsaktivität auf mitochondrialer Ebene an. T3 ist ein Schilddrüsenhormon, das die Proteinsynthese erhöht, den Cholesterinabbau anregt und die embryonale Entwicklung beeinflusst. In der Zellkultur reguliert T3 die Zelldifferenzierung und Proteinexpression.

Löslichkeit
Teilweise mit Wasser mischbar. Löslich in Dimethylsulfoxid, Methanol, Natriumhydroxid und Ethanol. Praktisch unlöslich in den meisten anderen organischen Lösungsmitteln.

Hinweise
Lagerung bei -20 °C. Nicht kompatibel mit Oxidationsmitteln und Wärme. Lichtempfindlich.
